Since Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are a rainforest climate, there is constantly moisture in the air, even if it’s not falling from the sky. This is why we apply ice control agents (if there are none or insufficient amounts present) at 0 degrees or colder, as this moisture will freeze and fall to the ground creating unsafe conditions, even if no rain or snow has fallen.
We apply ice control when forecasted temperatures are 0 degrees or lower. During times where there is no rain or snow forecasted, we only apply additional ice control measures if there are none or if only insufficient amounts are present. This provides our customers with additional peace of mind for safety, while keeping their cost as low as possible.

How much snow needs to fall before you remove it? Is it different for parking lots versus sidewalks?
Generally, we remove snow at either a 2.5cm/1” accumulation or 5cm/2” accumulation, depending on the property and traffic volume. Lower accumulation levels are for higher traffic properties like retail sites and the higher accumulation levels are for sites such as townhouse complexes.
We offer both! We can work with various budgets and service requirements to ensure your property receives exactly what they need.
We have a wide variety of equipment including plow trucks, skid steers, loaders, ATVs, and snow blowers. We also operate snow piling equipment to accommodate space concerns.
For clients receiving per time billing, they will be invoiced twice a month. Clients with a fixed seasonal price are invoiced monthly.
Yes! We send automated emails for salting services and detailed service plans for forecasted snow events, ensuring peace of mind and added clarity for customers.
